As a proprietary trading firm, Marquette has no clients. The traders risk partnership equity in pursuit of profits. Marquette employs a variety of trading methods, using fundamental and technical techniques on their state-of-the-art trading floors.

Marquette was founded in 1990 by James Heinz and Robert Moore. They are joined by 13 limited partners.  Marquette has grown from 5 employees to now over 85 traders, IT professionals, and support staff.
